Ivar E. Roth, D.P.M./M.P.H.

Dr. Roth received both a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois after receiving his undergraduate degree from California State University Fullerton. He completed a three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital with world-renowned podiatrist Dr. Lowell Weil Sr, surgical training available to fewer than one percent of podiatrists.

Patient care and comfort are my primary interests.

Background Born and raised in southern California, Dr. Roth is a second generation podiatrist. From an early age, he had a clear vision of his future in medicine. His favorite uncle, Dr. Harold "Chick" Weiner of Brooklyn, NY was his greatest source of inspiration in choosing his profession.

In practice since 1985, Dr. Roth was the founder and first president of the Orange County Chapter of American Academy of Private Physicians (AAAP) as well as the founding chairman of the section of Podiatric Medicine at Hoag Hospital.  Dr. Roth was a founding member and second president of the Forensic Expert Witness Association of Orange County, now a national organization.

Dr. Roth continues to advance the podiatric field with a new treatment protocol to cure fungus nails, a new design for high-heel shoes that is more comfortable to wear, and the latest technology in orthotics which can permanently correct flat foot/pronation deformity in youth and adolescents.
