Children's Foot Care

Foot and ankle problems that affect adults usually start when we are children. In most instances these problems are inherited. By assessing and monitoring a child's feet and ankles, Concierge Podiatry can correct most issues while bones are growing and pliable. The near term result is improved posture and body alignment and children who will want to walk and exercise more. Plus with treatment, as children become adults, they may never experience the problems that affected their parents and grandparents.

Diabetic Foot Care

Diabetes can cause nerve and blood vessel damage which is likely to become a problem for your feet.  Diabetes sufferers who develop neuropathy often experience a loss of feeling in their feet that can cause infections from injuries they many not know they have and cannot feel. At Concierge, we help diabetic patients with

  • Periodic examinations
  • Treating podiatric problems including ingrown toenails, corns, calluses and hammertoes that may lead to infection
  • Providing custom orthotics to reduce abnormal pressure on the foot that can lead to an increased chance of injury and infection

We also provide guidance and referrals for suppliers of specialized footwear.
